Is sad fart going too far

For a while I've been using an acronym 'sad fart' to help people remember their consumer rights. Well in teh new 'we've got a designer' mode, I've had an image made to my brief. There's been some debate in MoneySaving towers over its suitability, so I thought I'd ask you to vote on it.
The image is below

Notes:
1. The colours of text may be changed to make Sad fart stand out a bit more.
If you have any thoughts on how to keep it fun, but maybe less risque, please let me know

Personally....I think the graphics makes it look like schoolboy humour instead of just adding a funny angle as it was meant to do.
I think the words are fine.....just that the bum makes it look immature. Can't you just have a character sad fart without the bum?
I'm sure others will find it very amusing though.Herman - MP for all!0 -
think the picture of a bum is maybe a bit much for some people - can't think of another piccie of the top ogf my head but if i do I'll be sure to let you know -
oh how about a sad whoopee cushion?? -
Or another suggestion - maybe change the acronymn to Fart Squad ???(the qu for the quality bit) and you could have whoopee cusions wearing military uniforms??0 -
Would it help if we changed the bum into boxer shorts?Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

I haven't clicked on the voting buttons but my thoughts are..............
Instead of a thong on a bum, why not show the rear end of a cow with a fart cloud? Cows are well known for producing lots of methane and the picture would be less likely to offend.
Would the colours (red lettering & green background) give some people a problem? What about changing the SADFART letters (currently in yellow) to red and the rest of the text another colour?
Have a nice day.

for the bum bit probably yes
but it did take me a bit to realise it was supposed to be a piccie of a fart - I know I am just thick

Didn't look like a bottom to me...not spotty enough.
I'd change it to a puff of wind myself.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Lol......it's not the nakedness that is the problem....it's the whole picture that depicts a fart coming out.
It's the kind of thing my teenager would like. Think Kevin.
Not sure it gels with the kind of message you are trying to portray?
Adding a funny angle is a good idea...but I think this particular funny angle just isn't a good look. As I said....smacks of immaturity to me. Funny....but a bit too immature for the message you are trying to get across. Sorry.Herman - MP for all!0 -
i think showing flesh is too much - wouldn't like to have that on the screen if someone was looking over my shoulder0

builders bum image might be more acceptable than skimpys after all women dont fart. Gas mask, nose peg.0

Wouldn't offend me, but kazzea makes a good point that the fart is unrecognisable. Whoever has drawn it must reconsider their fart-drawing ability. Sigh, didn't he/she ever go to school, lol!! At the moment it looks more liquid than gas.
On a more constructive note, the fart needs to be a cloud as any fart cartoonist worth his salt would know (check out the young lads comics as a reference point!).
I don't mind the semi naked bum, but it makes no difference to the message whether or not it is clothed, so to avoid offending people perhaps you could clothe it.
One major error though. The bum is clearly female (go on, tell us who the model was!). Everyone knows ladies don't fart....Ahem...
ps, no offence intended to the cartoonist, this is meant in jest
pps, toilet humour rocks!
