have a sony dcr-hc51e mini dvd camcorder.have used windows movie maker to transfer tape and burn to dvd-r no problem.today when trying to do same thing it is saying ,import video cannot find compatiable digital video device.am using a firewire 1eee1394 cable .any idea what the problem could be:mad:

Window Movie maker seems to be a very fragile progam , it was fighting me the other day big time.
Restart your computer, plug up your camcorder, don't forget to switch it on.That gum you like is coming back in style.0
