formula milk dispenser help lease

I have bought an avent formula milk dispenser for making up bottles on the go. not sure if it is just me being simple, but when i sterilise it in my microwave steriliser it is all wet inside. obviously i can't put powder milk in it as it will just get wet.

does anybody else have one and can tell me what they do to keep it sterile but make it dry? hope this makes sense. Thanks

Don't sterilise it. The milk in the box isn't sterile, but as long as it is kept dry bacteria can't grow. hth

Hi 3kids... If I leave it long enough it does dry but if not I just wipe round the inside with a piece of kitchen roll:p

Terrible mummy here, but i have never ever sterilised those formula pots! Wash them out once a week or so (ie when i remember) and leave them on the side to dry off.

Melon78 - you are not so terrible - I used to wash mine out once a month or so!
