hiya, we have had this friendly little visitor the past couple of nights a little multi coloured kitten which to me looks around 8/10 weeks old, its such a cute little thing but i think its the neighbours 2 doors up (will find out when its a decent enough hour to go knock) anyway we have no problem with her coming in and out, she is only following our cats and after food and also sleepng on our bed and im sure my cats will get used to her coming and going but at the end of the day she isnt ours so how do we discourage her, also i think she may have little flea eggs on her (it could just be she needs a bath though) how do i politley ask the owners to put flea collars on her and flea drops, my cats have never had fleas and we dont want them now.

How is she getting in and out? If it's through a cat flap, I'd get one of those with a lock / magnet so that only my cats could come in and out. And I'd be vigilant about her coming in when the door was open. And show displeasure that she's there. Surely that's the first step in discouraging a little visitor?Signature removed for peace of mind0

lol long story, we did have a cat flap but since getting the dog the cats wont use it as they have to pass the dog so at the moment they are using the bathroom window in and out (nearly getting brave with the dog though they are staring to come to the bottom fo the stairs its just taking time) i really dont mind to be honest if she comes in or not our cats get on ok with her my main concern is that surely she is far too young to be out doesnt even look like she is old enough to have had all her injections and she is to young for flea drops etc, we didnt get our cats till they were a yr old anyway so am not 100% sure on kittens, have located the owners now anyway and took her back and she hasnt come back as yet so hopefully they are keeping her inside, we did keep putting her back outside to start with with but it was getting very late and there is a lot of wildlife round here so we just let her stay the night although the window was open so she could of left whenever she wanted to.now proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0
