I ordered a TOM TOM mount for my PDA from a guy who sells loads of mounts. he has great feedback so thought I would be safe.

The problem is he has sent a cheap replica, and hasn't even sent all the parts described in the listing. i.e it stated it included a windscreen mount, dashboard mount, vent mount and cradle. I've onlt recieved the windscreen mount and the cradle.

Whats the best thing to do? Any advise would be greatly appriciated.

How did you pay? It's probably best to contact the seller to let them know you're not happy in the first instance.

If you get no joy off the seller start a chargeback if you paid by Pypal.

I've sent a mail to the seller explaining I'm not happy and why.

I did pay via paypal, how long should I give him to respond to my email?

I would say leaving it until the end of Monday, say, would be pretty generous. Keep an eye on his activities - while he's still selling, you know there is money going into his paypal account that can be used to refund you. If you start a chargeback through paypal, don't warn him as that would give him a chance to clear it out.

If paypal finds in your favour, you will get a full refund (including outward postage), but you will have to return the goods at your cost.

Hang onto the goods until Paypal instuct you to return them.
