I saw this thread earlier and was going to suggest just using a scrunchie :( Despite knowing that her hair will go curly my daughter never thinks to take one with her so we end up having to buy them around the second day :)

  • Redwoodysoup, can you let us know how your wife gets on with Kerastase Oleo Relax Serum as I have the same problem especially when on holiday. I am off to Majorca in a few days and its not normally too bad there but when I went to Cyprus last year it was horrendous, the second I went outside - PING! :rotfl:

0223732_m.jpg I find this is really good and when used with the smooth intense conditioner it really helped to stop frizzing, I used it in Mexico :T

If i remember I will certainly let you know how she gets on with the Kerastase Oleo Relax. She's using it already in this country and it works well but she doesn't have much of a problem to be honest over here as its not humid. Will see how it goes over in Florida in Sept and will also look at buying the Redken Stuff. I'd better take out a second mortgage.
  • hi i have the same problem all the time when i go abroad. my hair is very thick and curly.
I got so sick of having to mess about with it everyday that now i have mine braided before i go . It looks nice tyed up and you can have it down at night to give you a more dressed up look .
there are usually mobile hairdresser who do this for about 40.00 . another good thing about it is you dont need any hair products at all and no strainers ect .
have it done about a week before you go so it has time to drop as it can be a bit tight at first .

  • Just to let you know we've just returned from Florida and the Kerastase Oleo Relax serum worked well. My wife's hair didn't frizz up like last year so job done!!
