It's going to be a tough month this month

EEEEEKkkk

after all bills have been paid (and I have already done a massive food shop and probably wont need much for the rest of the month) I have a grand total of £36 left for the month.

OUCH!

(Partly due to the fact that I have paid off my £200 OD - so I do have back up as I havent reduced my OD just yet!)

Do you think it is possible to budget £36 for a whole month (obv without bills or travel)

I would say yes, do the envelope thing - i did thos for a few years when i was really struggling. Work out how much is to come out of the bank and do a big food shop and divide the remainder into 4 envelopes. I used to take them to my Mum's house, who lives some distance away so i only visit once a week, that way you have to make that money last until you collect the next envelope, and the last week in the month (when i was usually broke) i still had money left! £9 a week is harsh, but if you have food and your transport is covered it's do able! Good luck.
