Acer Laptop Battery

Hi ALL
I think my laptop battery has had its day
,my laptop keeps shutting down on its own.
does anybody know a decent supplier without paying too much for the battery.
i have seen a few for about £45-50 , but not sure about the company
battery needed is for acer travelmate 2414wlmi
any ideas or even a free battery :rolleyes: would be very welcome

I got myself one on ebay for about £20.
There are lots of sites out there that have which batteries are compatible with which acer and that is how I found out whish ones I could replace mine with.
Have you tried running the laptop by plugging it in without the battery?
Mine worked without a battery except it would still turn off so eventually I had to resolder the power jack and discovered that there was actually nothing wrong with my battery after all so now I have the two..0
