The Camden de Luxe seems very good value for a centrally located hotel - I am staying there for 2 days in a couple of weeks and been charged 70 euros for a double room. The goireland site is good for hotels:

We stayed at the

in April - basic accomodation but breakfast included and just of O'Connell Street. Excellent value for money.I stopped smoking 25th June 2007STILL Never complacent but confidentMy debt is GOING DOWN!!!!0 -

We've just stayed in Blooms in the Temple Bar area which was brilliant location although I paid for it with Airmiles. Just down the road is Oliver St John Gogertys https://www.gogartys.ie/accommodation/ which has accommodation from 19 euros, but that is for a large party. May be worth checking out though. If you like your Guinness be prepared - over 5 euros a pint and the price goes up in most pubs at 11pm.0

I can highly recommend the Ivy Exchange Apartments on Grafton Street.
We'd originally booked the Jury's Inn Parnell Street but changed a few days before. Apartments were lovely, clean and modern. Just up the top of O'Connell Street. We had 3 two bedroom apartments 2 weeks ago.

Might be more than you want to pay, but definitely worth it in my eyes0 -
search here for the best prices on hotels

We went there last year via Bristol using Ryanair.
An excellent B&B we stayed at:
www.flyoveronline.com
Buses to dublin and back stop right outside the place as well as coming and going from the auirport. If you don't have a car to get around then try http://www.dublinbus.ie/fares_and_tickets/other.asp
The info is at the bottom of the page if you are staying for 3 days or so.
Have fun.

...and the same for the Red Cow Monran http://www.moranhotels.com/hotels/redcow/
and Jurys Custom House http://dublinhotels.jurysinns.com/jurysinn_customhouse0
