Abbey on line banking

Hi everyone.
Has anyone had problems with this. Logged on fine yesterday morning but unable to do so by 9pm. Phoned Abbey and they say a request to register for e-banking had been made, this had cancelled the original registration and I will now have to wait for the new registration pack to arrive. Apparently you have to request registration by phone but it wasn't me!! They have put it down to a keying error.
Coincidentally I received an e-mail from them yesterday regarding an ISA account I opened in April (which is already up and running) asking me (amongst other things)to register on line to access the account. I am inclined to think that the 2 incidents are linked. I phoned Abbey about the extra e-mail and they did send it, apparently the original account acknowledgement did not have all the terms and conditions attached.
Anyone else had this happen to them?
Regards Wendy
