    Or take the other view and assume that given it is for more money that this would be for a better job than yours and apply for it. Or at least ask someone relevant (line manager, HR, etc) if they thought you would be suitable?

    Sorry for not replying for a while. i have spoken to my line manager and she says that it is a mistake on the recruitment agencies part and they never said they would pay that much for someone at my level? Of course this left me a little p*ssed off so anyway some good news. My partner got me an interview at her work place the other week, i have seent the director twice now and my application is progressing well i think and it is an extra 3k a year and I can sell my motorbike as I will be able to car share with the misses. ANother good thing is I have another interview on Thursday again for 3k more then what I am on atm but it is a little further out and I would have to keep my bike. But we will see what happens
