1st post so here goes.
A couple of friends of mine mentioned this scheme to me,so on looking into it I found a thread started on this site 18-06-07 which was very informative.
What I would like to know is,can I join this scheme? I'm a pensioner @ present on BT calls plan option 1,and my quarterly phone bill (just calls) averages around £15.(line rent and vat cost another £40) I also have a "dial up" internet connection with Orange @ £7/month(£21/qtr).Will my internet connection to Orange be blocked if I try to use this scheme?
Any advice/suggestions/help much appreciated.

The monthly call threshold is £4.86 (inc VAT) - you need to be making calls to less than this to be eligible.
If you qualify, and discover the orange line gets barred (they use software to check the "free" numbers being dialled), then there's no problem - you have to come off the light user scheme and they remove the software allowing you to call who you like.0 -
