sony ps2 network adaptor

been in dixons today (Retford, Notts) and asked if they had any ps2 network adaptors, i was a little bit surprised when the guy said they were only 14.99, i snatched it out of his hand rather quickly and paid even faster.
i have been looking for a few weeks now on ebay etc and couldn't find a brand new 1 for less than 20 odd quid.
just need to find out what to connect it to now as i have tesco broadband and it wont fit in the socket, if you know how please let me know.
cheers cash.

if you have a usb modem which came when you got broadband, it probably won't have an ethernet port - hence your square peg / slightly different square hole dilemma.

you will need an ethernet router to hook up your ps2 to your broadband connection.

my xbox live setup (v similar) is as such:

xbox > rj45 crossover cable > dlink adsl router > phone socket

    hope this helps.
