Good morning,
I have a MDA compact III on Tmobile with their web'n'walk, but its very slow and unresponsive most of the time.
Is there a way to make this device wi-fi enabled? It has a micro SD card slot that I am not using at the moment.
I'd appreciate anyones help or your experiences if you have done this.
Many thanks Si

I have one of these also & it is wifi enabled I believe
Go into comm manager ( signal bars at the top)
Then click the second image on the left & it should pick up any wifi signals.
However I have found it to be terrible as is the 3g & am changing it asapDavid James aint got nothing on me0 -
Thanks for replying djkaizen.
Just tried that and it is not responding. I did read that the wifi on the Tmobile version was disabled, probably to promote their web'n'walk!!
Is there any such thing as a microSD wifi card?!? Would this be the way to go?
Cheers Si0 -

All T-Mobile versions of this phone have Wi-Fi disabled, seemingly in hardware. The Chipset supports it though.

It's worth checking their forums to see if anyone has a solution. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
Thanks for the links and your help.
djkaizen-looks exactly what I need, bet it will cost a bit when it does come out. If its not for a while I might have the opportunity of an upgrade with tmobile by then.
weegie.geek- thanks for the link will have a good read. Looks a bit techy for me but nothing ventured...
Thanks for your help Si0
