Whats the best time in advance to book flights? (transatlantic).
Is it as early as possible for the cheapest?
I'd heard it was something like 90 days....

Booking very early can be expensive, and risks flight changes before you travel.
I'd guess 4 to 2 months - it will vary though - particularly at busy times you might not want to leave it too long. I'd probably book now for any time between October and the New Year, maybe leave it a little longer for November0 -
