I've just closed my old Halifax websavers to open up the new ones paying much better interest. Accounts were closed yesterday and capital/interest credited to my nominated account today.
However i still cannot open the new ones as the system still thinks I have the maximum allowed. Has anyone else had the maximum and had to close some before opening new ones? How long did it take before you could apply online?
