We got the Aerobus when we went last year, it drops you in the square right next to Las Ramblas, was quick and easy :)

Get the bus outside of the departures doors, will take you straight into Barcelona, terminal is at the top of Las Ramblas, costs 3 euro`s each and run every 10 minutes.

As the others have said the bus is your friend!

Direct from just outside the airport door to the very top of Las Ramblas.

I don't believe it would cost that much in a taxi - we paid 20 euros a few years ago.

We always get the bus now, it's cheap and easy - takes a lot longer though, but as long as you are not in a rush, it's fine.

You can also get a train but I've never done that.
  • A taxi is not that much from Barcelona Airport, 30 Euros max (including the airport 'tax' or whatever it is)

Is it definitely Barcelona and not Girona? (are you flying Ryanair?)

  • There is also a train; Cercanias/Rodalies line 10 from the airport to Franca station calls at Passeig de Gracia, which is a couple of blocks away. A single costs €2.60 and the airport is in zone 1 (central) of the intergrated tariff system.

    Hi,

last November is was less than 30 Euros from the airport to the bottom of Las Ramblas in a taxi tho it was a quiet Saturday morning, so traffic wasnt a problem.

    Cheers,

You can get the train. But the Aerobus is just as easy. Right outside Barcelona Airport terminal and for the Ramblas you need to get off at Place de Catalunya. Place de Catalunya is the main square in Barcelona and all the tourist Buses and Sight Seeing Tours start from there.

Depending upon the day you go and the time allow between 25 and 45 minutes for the journey. The Ramblas is quite a long street and if you have luggage it can be a long hike if you are at the end nearest the port.
  • No its was defo from Barcelona airport i coundnt believe it either that it would cost 75 euro i just goggled taxi from barcelona airport to la ramblas & this is what i was priced by a taxi firm:confused:

But thanks everyone for your help...........
