I can't edit my signature tells me i've too many lines!?

hi all,

I'm unable to change/edit my signature, i know the new rules came into play a while ago and i changed it then in accordance with this (6 lines)

the thing is i only have 4 lines and i want to chage the amounts but when i click save it tells me i have too many lines ie 6 or more even when i havent?! :mad:

can someone tell me how to do it or what im doing wrong

The "too many lines" error, seems to be the default one that the forum throws up, even if the problem is that there are too many characters in your signature. It used to do that for me anyway.

You've got quite a few changes of font, colour, and other formatting in your signature. That all requires formatting "code" that takes up characters in your signature.

If you click the button when you are editing your signature, then you will be able to see all the hidden code.
