I applied for an MBNA credit card last night. Yet, until now, they have not checked my credit file with the Equifax or experian. When do they usually check? i thought this is done automatically by a computer.

My experience is that they do check instantly (hence the 'instant decision' feature, or is it a bug?), but it doesn't always show up on Experian instantly.Money in longest works hardest0

When I applied on their website, there was no instant decision feature.0

It might be that the check hasnt been done yet. MBNA did one for me a few days later for my bmi card.
