That's plenty of space on the disks.
I think you're confusing RAM against Hard Disk space.
Freeing programs won't help your memory situation.
You need to buy some more RAM for the laptop.
If you look in the manual or specs of the machine it will tell you what ram can be fitted to it. 1Gb of Ram is now a good figure to have.A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0 -
To find out what RAM you need you could also use the system scanner at Crucial.

The rule of memory is; you can never have enough! Buy as much as you can afford, but at the very least the 512Mb which gives you 768Mb.
It's dead easy to fit, there should be a small panel on the underside of the laptop that unscrews with 2 screws and reveals the extra slot. (Although one or 2 models are under the keyboard, but the screws are usually marked with a 'chip' symbol to indicate which ones to remove)A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0
