9.94 interest today in my savings account, just need about another 9 pounds to knock off another month off the mortgage now

I've just had a look at the price fixing stuff for my electricity,and it reckons it would cost me 50% more :eek: :eek: I am lucky as I only have electric in the flat and my usage is low, I hardly ever ue the heating as its a really warm top floor flat and all my rooms have velux windows so its really light too My direct debit for it at the moment is 41.00 a month, but I reckon with some careful usage I can save a bit so even if it does go up in price hopefully my lower usage will balance it out

My grandad just popped in with a card for me with £40 in it :beer:

Ds gave me a beautiful card this morning and a necklace that he'd chosen He was dead proud that he chose it and paid with some of his own pennies ... he only had 10p in his pocket so I'm guessing mum had to help him out :rotfl:
