in Techie Stuff
A friend of mine from work recently has Sky+ installed - and has found that when he tries to use the copy feature to transfer stuff to DVD, it doesnt work.
He has listed his programmes, started to play them and it just stops after a minute or so and refuses to play anymore.
Anyone got any ideas what could be wrong????
I am not very technical and my friend doesnt have the internet so I offered to look on google but found nothing, so I thought I would post here and see if anyone could shed any light on it for me.

Its a bug that was introduced with Sky anytime and autostandby.
it also screws with your aspect ratio.
Best not to use it.
Just manually play stuff back.

Get the DVD recorder teed up and ready to record.
Then, on the Sky+ box, press "Play" instead of "Copy" and start the DVD recorder recording manually.
It works fine.
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.
