Right - I have printed off both lists - flylady and my other stuff to do.....so no excuse for not getting round to things.
Cycling is on at 9.30 and I really want to watch that, whereas the athletics on now is mainly heats........so, I have an hour to get things started then I can sit down at 9.30 and watch the cycling.........Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I just have to boast here.
When I got up this morning I found that the dishwasher had been loaded and run and emptied, and all the saucepans washed and put away. All I presume by DS2, in between Olyympic events:j Yay a clear kitchen :j

Thats a busy start today! I'm still admiring my work in the kitchen from yesterday, tho there's still that load of "recovered" washing up to finish off. A few dfw adminny things to do - sympathise with the dvd rental not cancelled, hypno, I did exactly the same last month - ended up with 6 films from them, and I only watched 4, I *really* don't use it.
Enjoy the Olympics - it *is* a holiday for you, remember.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Bloody hell hypno - TWO lists! Are you sure you've got enough to keep you occupied on your HOLIDAY??

ps wasn't that bloke on Wife Swap AWFUL? Surely there are not still men out thre who really say of their wives "she is my property" and give their 11 year old a hard time for having the nerve to leave him alone to look after his two young boys??? Jeez. Made me glad I bat for the other side...! :rotfl::rotfl:0

Olive, I am not jealous at all........not in the slightest........  :rotfl:
Miz, yes, that bloke was absolutely a nightmare - I turned over to the "aftermath" programme too, and it was a real shame because his wife instantly returned to her "role" in the household and backed her husband up at every opportunity. Such a shame.......
I told my kids that if OH ever spoke to me like that, I would have him out on his ear.......and likewise, if I ever spoke to him in that way I would expect the same! I think it opened the childrens' eyes as well a bit!
I have made a really good start on the kitchen - nothing finished enough to mark off the list yet, but it will happen! Floor has been washed, dishwasher on, washing machine on, worktops almost cleared, blah blah blah! It will look sparkly by the end of the day!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I guess the fact that he was so unbelievable was a good thing - a sign we have moved on - all reasonable men - and women - would think that behaviour was completely unacceptable. A hundred years ago it would have been normal! :eek:0
