Hi Hypno and all...hope today wasn't too hard for you with all the stresses on the FTSE.0

Bloody hell, what a day......ended up working late - and I was STILL the first one to leave so goodness knows what time they all end up going home.....but I had to catch a bus and if I missed this one, there is a very long wait until the next one.
Anyway, my head hurts, my feet hurt and I am just plain shattered!! But I keep telling myself that one reason I love this job is the fact that you just never know what is going to happen each day!!
Also managed to do a mystery shop and picked another one up for later in the week.
Haven't paid anything off the debt - simply haven't had time! I may see if I can do so this evening, but first I need to sort out something to eat - the children helped themselves to pasta and sausages, and OH is of course at work.

Have a drink... Kick back and relax!
My walk through Canary Wharf today got me accostd by none other that FOUR recruitment consultants trying to nab CVs! Good on em! If I was one of them still, I would be doing exactly the same!
Could really do with the commission!
Sounds like you need some ambient sounds to chill and relax man!
Unwind then think of tomorrow as another challenge! Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -
kick back and relax......hmm, I think I have forgotten how to do that :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Hi, been trying to read the thread but it is always moving so fast. I dont think I have managed to do much with the challenges, unless you count the fact that my mum passed me a few quid when I saw her on Sunday. Then I promptly gave half of it to my eldest daughter, he BF was in a serious car crash on the 4th, and today he has had major surgery to repair a broken shoulder, so he will be off work for another 6 months or so. My problems seem to pall into insignificants then!!
I have been looking after my grandson a lot more lately, he is 10 months old nearly and already weighs in at 11.5kg I think she said. Anyway he is heavy, (which is not brilliant for my arm), I can relate to the Starfish effect and the messy nappies that Shaun is on about!! Tonight twin1 and I were getting both babies ready for their baths, and both had done "bummers",and as I was doing the granddaughter she dicided to stand up and wee all over the floor, (She is 11 months old, nearly a year old already. God where does the time go,????When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
where does the time go, indeed.............!
Hope BFs shoulder is ok - my OH had a major op on his shoulder earlier this year - he made a fab recovery so hopefully your BF will do just as well.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I have had a telephone call today from my estranged husband to tell me tht his sister has not responded to treatment for a brain tumor, and is coming out of hospital tomorrow to go home for the rest of her days. She is only in her 40's. I am still in a bit of shock as I thought that she had recovered a long time ago. Of course I have been separated for 4 years so I havent really been kept in the picture.
sorry probably should have posted this on my thread!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

All I can say is what next? Can I take much more? Well I suppose I have no choice to. Think its yet another horrible year for a lot of us.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
