Quick hijack to have a moan
Not only is the bloody ex still away so no child support that should have been paid on the 26th but tax credits were utterly messed up too-apparently for everyone who has a 16 year old who didn't leave school so between the two I'm nearly £600 short.
Apparently this tax credit situation happens every year regardless of how early you notify tax credits and child benefit that the child is staying on.
I've cancelled my birthday plans for Sunday......does that mean I won't be a year older ? (feel ten years older with the stress of all this tho)

Moan over-back to jaffa cakes and colouring in now

duchy I hope that they sort things out for you soon, and yes, no birthday means you remain forever young.

A long day today - ski racing for the children.......and it is at our local slope so I am working in the bar. Then the same tomorrow. I won't be paid but I will "earn" ski hours in return so still worth doing, and saves me being outside in the rain (you see, there is method in my madness........:o ).

Hope you all have a good day!

Duchy - hope things sort out soon.

Enjoy your day hypno - ski credits are as good as cash with your two so a profitable way to spend the day. Talk later.

    Morning Hypno and all.

Haven't been on much since hubbies accident but hope to get things back to normal soon.

OMG I have just seen your tax credit payment. How fab is that :T I bet you almost fell of your chair when you saw your bank balance.

Well done for paying it all off your card though that must have took some willpower.

    Have I missed anything else?

I've got birthday cake thanks to my housemate's birthday! YES!!!

I need to be able to get on this P__econ! website as it sounds pretty good if you get the questionnaires! :o

Good thing you checked the tax credits when you did Hypno-TCO have no computers all weekend now (presumably because they are sorting out the current mess)
Apparently I *might* get a payment before wednesday.......or I might just get a double payment on wednesday <sigh>

    Hi there

Just checking back in after a few days away, have been exhausted and down with a bit of a migraine, tho I feel a bit better now. And you're off again at the ski school! And your kids have your energy so they'll deffo be Olympians....

Is there another Chinese takeaway in the offing? Since you're within budget cos you didn't make food on Thursday night, there might be, yes? :D

    Anyway, have a good day.
