But I don't think it is suitable for someone who is partially deaf, and totally tone deaf?

Many of the bands you are reviewing are also totally tone deaf.........that's what makes it so tedious!!

Hope you all have a good day!

Mid-day coffee update......it took me over half an hour to put the shopping away because I had to scan it all.......we will persevere with the scanning thing for a while - the children quite like doing it, but they were not here this morning so it was down to me, and I don't enjoy it quite so much :o However, it is not actually a problem to do. It is a bit of a faff, but then so much of this moneysaving stuff is a bit of a faff, but we still do it don't we, so this won't be any different!

Did a bit of STP this morning, and might do a little more this afternoon, but not too much. I would quite like to get up to £5.00 as I know that I can then withdraw it if I want......it will then seem a bit more like "real" money!

  • Hi Hypno,

What's the scan thing that you are doing? Do you get much money for doing it and is it worthwhile??

hi tea, the scan thing is where you scan all your groceries and then data is collected via the phone line every week or something. We have only been doing it a couple of weeks.....you collect points and when you have been doing it about a billion years you have enough points for a football.

I think if you want to save your points for a PS3, you have to scan your shopping for 36 years or something ridiculous, so I am yet to be convinced, but I have said we will give it a go - don't rule anything out until it has been tried!

It is like all the surveys etc I suppose - persevere for long enough and you get something out of it, but there is no short cut!

El, operation cash point is failing today - DD has taken the student for a guided tour of the city, showing her where school is etc, so I have sent her with my cash card to get money out for lunch....... :o

    Must try harder

hi Hypno, boy do you sound busy as always.
the old perennial question are you still collecting cartridges? my printer kept telling me yesterday that i've nearly finished one and i thought of you. I'm sure i've still got your address if you are.
Hope the kitties come through their experience ok, very sensible option if you ask me, mine weren't allowed out until their visit to the vet which they weren't impressed about.

Yes please LT - I think I will be having to put a day aside to sort out cartridges as I have a good number again! Let me know if you need my address!

    Nearly there Hypno,

(I mean to £5 not df obviously!) Do you have a number of set phrases that you pull out to pad your reviews? Must be impossible to come up with anything original after a while?

I gave up at £5.16 because the "music" started to get really pants and I was struggling to write anything positive other than "aaaarrrrgggghhhh" :o:o

I think I will withdraw my meagre earnings and do some more another day.....
