yes, back on target but seeing it down in print is making me realise the enormity of what I am expecting from myself!! To expect to pay £860 off my debt every 10 days is a huge ask!!!

At the moment, while I am ahead it is not too bad, but I am very sure there will be periods when I am lagging behind and I don't want to feel demoralised.....so I will be keeping a close eye on my emotions as well as my debt numbers.......!

The driving force behind it is still the want to move house - prices for the nice big houses are coming down far more than the value of my own house, and there are a couple that I would def be asking for the details for if I didn't have the debt.

So the quicker I pay it off, the more options will be open to us. Also, I don't want to risk rocking the credit rating by applying for a 0% and being rejected - I need to be as "good" as possible when I go and apply for that even bigger mortgage!!

If anyone can do it, you can. And I'm sure you will.

(Although £860 every 10 days does sound scary when you put it like that!)

I think I did the same Mystery Shop as you today (only I had tea and wine ;)). I've got a fair few Mystery Shops lined up this month so I have gone for £10 a day rather than £5 and I'm really going for it - if you can do £86 a day I can do £10 :o. There was a message at work looking for people to do a linguistics experiment for £10 - I thought of you and my make £10 a day and signed up straight away so hopefully that's my £10 for Monday.

Gemmzie and Karmacat are right, you're almost another £1000 down already, it'll all be gone and you'll be in that lovely new house before you know it.

I only have 1 mystery shop lined up for September - there is a bit of a drought at the moment here...mainly because a lot of them say you cannot visit the same place in 3 months or whatever, and because I did loads in July and August, I have ruled myself out of those!

I need to think of more things for September - I think matched betting will be making a return to the top of the list. I placed my first one for ages for the Chelsea match today - only a tiddler but hopefully enough to get my enthusiasm back up!

Today the student arrives, so that is obviously the biggest moneymaker for us, but I need some other bits and pieces too. I have allocated my payrise to an ISA for OH with Legal & General, hoping for the cashback through quidco.....obviously I know that it will likely need an enquiry to get it, but mine did come through eventually so I have nothing really to lose. I still have £110 marked as "agreed" from my car insurance, but it has not been received yet  I have chased them up but told to wait a bit longer

Anyway, I hope you all have a good day!

Have you done the vernons pools thing on quidco? I don't really understand it too much, but as I cant use it for matched betting am I right in assuming I can just go ahead and do it? Not sure if that made much sense, Ihave been doing the gambling sites as I join th bookies for matched betting, but what I mean is, am I right that this has nothing to do with mb??:o:o:o
