I am struggling to find the right case for my proposed new pc so am turning to this board for help yet again.I am wanting something black or tasteful black and silver, that has front usb and headphone sockets, but preferably on the top.Preferably with power big enough for a amd64 3500+ processor, cool and quiet.Space for at least two optical drives, upto Three hardrives and a floppy drive aswell as a floppy sized cardreader.I don't want plasticy doors that cover the drives as these are guaranteed to get broken in my house.I am not against gaming cases though.Budget is upto about £60 if this is possible.any suggestions please.thanks in advance

The Antec Sonata II sounded like the near perfect match until you mentioned not wanting a drive door.
I'd still highly recommend the case though, and for £80 it's great value. The build quality is brilliant, very well thought out with rails to fit the hard drives and dvd-roms too (like on a server). It's quite attractive with a Piano black finish, and will easily store everything you've mentioned. It's a silent/cool case too with two 92mm fans (running variably) to keep your AMD64 cool and rubber grommits to absorb hard drive vibration. And the best part is it comes with a decent 450W Antec psu, easily enough to power your 3500+.
The only downside is that it has a drive door, and the Piano black finish attracts grubby finger prints easily (like a black iPod).
For £60 though I doubt you'll find exactly what you're looking for, at least not to the quality of the Antec."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -

Great case. If you're looking to drive a venice 3500+ and 3 hard drives I would advise getting a good quality PSU.---->
