SCAM: PFA Media (UK) Limited

Hi

My partner recently answered a telephone call to someone from PFA Media asking whether he'd like to advertise in a local authority magazine. He didn't agree to anything over the telephone. We then received a letter asking for payment of the add so called PFA to cancel it (as we hadn't agreed to it in the first place). Today we've received an invoice for payment!!! I have just googled this company and found out that it is a scam!!!! Has anyone else had any dealing with this company??

Seen this before I believe it has been posted on MSE as well before but deffo a scam. You never get to see the publication as well. I laso think they send random invoices to as many comapnies as possible and believe it or not most big companies payup

A similar thing was attempted with the company i work for.

I suggest you do nothing, obviously as it is unlawful and they do not have a signed agreement, no debt collector would dare take it on, and it would be impossible to take you to court.

Do not even bother contacting them. That's what we did and we heard nothing from them.
