British Airways Amex now Charging a BT Fee

Hi all,

I checked out the MSE advice regarding longer term balance transfers (stable relationships).

The link to the BA Amex card was recommended. On navigating to the moneysupermarket.com page:

British Airways American Express Details

This site explicitly states that there are no balance transfer fees. I tried to make an application but the computers were down. However on calling the helpline the operators offered to make an application for me but refused to accept that there were no BT fees. They were quoting 2% or £40 whichever is the smaller... I called back twice to different people and received the same answer both times. Maybe this offer has been closed.

Any advice please MSE's?

Cheers,
Rob
