The Three Tuns pub, Bishops Castle

I've just got back from a short break in Bishops Castle (Shropshire) with a group of friends. On Saturday night, we decided to eat at the Three Tuns pub because all the other pubs were fully booked. We went in and asked to reserve a table, but unfortunately the kitchen was closed that night due to staff illness.

The landlady suggested that we grab a table, then go and fetch a takeaway and bring it back to the pub to eat. There was a chip shop just up the street, and a chinese & an indian just around the corner. We did exactly that, and spent a happy evening in the pub, eating our takeaway and drinking lots of beer! She provided plates, cutlery & condiments for us.

A win-win situation! We got to eat in the comfort of the pub, and she got to sell us lots of beer! A big thank you to the Three Tuns pub and the very friendly and accommodating staff.
