Dear Customer,
Thank you for your order, though as I'm sure may be aware, there is a pricing fault on the website, which has loaded the bottle price of Felton Road as the case price as well. The case price should be £215
This has been corrected now.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept your kind order at that price and as such will not have charged your card.
I'm sorry for the error and for getting your hopes up, but mistakes do happen and we have corrected this one as soon as we were able.
Kind Regards
Richard Davis

not happy! This was advertised on the Telepgraph newspaper on line and on averys home page. Like Boots etc, shouldn't they honour this or at the very least a bottle of wine as compensation? After all they now have our cotact and bank details.
Legally, as we have received and invoice/receipt do we have any leagl comeback?0 -
I too have just checked my email and had the same reply. Shame really, but I guess it was just too good to be true.
I did check TSA, re obligation to sell at advertised price, but unfortuately, it states that :
"The price on display is simply what the law calls an ‘invitation to treat’. In the same way you don't have to buy goods from anyone, a retailer is under no obligation to sell you anything.
You cannot insist that a shop sells you anything at a marked price, whether or not they have made a mistake."
So Im afraid weve lost this one. However, I am gonna try an email stating that this offer was misleading and request some kind of compensation, who knows might get a free bottle of wine????
Sorry again.

Codes are only permitted on the Discount Codes and Vouchers board and posts containing codes have to be removed. Please see here for explanation.0 -
That's fair enough, but as the offer was a grab it now, could the mod not have moved the code rather than just deleting it?
I put my hands up that i should not have posted it here, but i'm new to the site (and now i know!)0 -
the best thing to do in those circumstances is to create a thread on the Discount Codes and Vouchers board with the code in, then you can post a link to that thread in here.0
