Ideal World - useful info

A few months ago I ran into difficulties with the shopping channel "Ideal World". Orders charged against my bank account but goods not received, no replies to emails or letters, phone calls not returned. Went on for weeks and even threats of Trading Standards were ignored. In the end I did a bit of research and discovered that the Advertising Standards Agency covers this sort of situation so I emailed them and sent a copy email to IW.

Brilliant! Cash refunded to account within a couple of working days!

I recently passed this info on to another IW customer who was having problems and the threat alone was enough to galvanise the the company into action!

An e-mail to the boss andrew.fryatt@idealshoppingdirect.co.uk usually works when you are p1ssing against the wind or hitting a brick wall with their useless offshore "customer services".
