As soon as you get to your new house put the beds up and make them. You have the rest of your life to unpack and get organised, no rush but as soon as you have had enough, and eaten the take away, no cooking that night, you can just fall in to bedLoretta0

label all your boxes then they can jus go in the rooms that they need to rather than having to keep shifting them
also keep kettle, teabags etc in a handy box so u can have a cuppa when u get there

Digitally photograph all of your meters so you have date and time on the readings.
Try everything, hot water, central heating, have both on and off and check system for leaks, some boilers leak when cold due to contraction.
Check everything against the schedule, some people remove light bulbs so pack some, pak soem toilet roll and soap, you don't know what people have done with the ones they have left behindMortgage Free Wannabe 2009 Challenge
