How much to fit an electric shower?

Hi
I want to get an electric shower installed over the bath in my bathroom, to save me money as I am having a water meter fitted soon. The area round the bath where it will go will also need tiling.
Anyone get any idea about how much should I expect to pay?

Electric showers are usually expensive to fit as if you dont have an existing one then new cables will have to be run and new circuits put in your fuseboard plus your plumbing requirments on top.

If you have reasonable water pressure, then why not just run your shower off your mixer tap which is what i do. I agree it's not as nice but with reasonable pressure and a good shower head you will have a nice shower at the fraction of the cost and a lot less hassle.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks.. a friend has also suggested this, and I think this is what I will do.
