Hi
peculiar to phrase this right in the title! I put things in my tesco basket as i think of them during the week, i've found today a few things that i've put in when they cost x now cost much more in the main online shop section. eg g&b cocoa powder i put in my basket at 84p it's now listed at 1.49, (i only picked that one as it was the cheapest)
now will i get charged the price in my basket or the price in the online store on the day of delivery? the product isn't under any special offer or money off btw, that i'd obviously understand!
butter the same, the brittany one has gone up 12p in 2 days, anyone else found the same?
thanks

I would guess that since they scan it all through the checkout like a normal shop, you'd be charged whatever the price was on the day. I do tend to do one last check over my shopping early on the morning it's due to be delivered, just in case they have pulled any fast ones like that.0

it does say somewhere, might be the confirmation email or on the print out you get that the prices may change and that you pay what they come out on at the shop other than internet specials. It also says that if you do not like the final price you can give it back and get a full refund at the time of delivery.Still TryingGrocery challenge July 2016

Hi there! As this isn't strictly Old Style and has fallen from the front page, I'll add it to the Consumer Vent board, where more people will see it:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0

I have found the same in relation to special offers that expired before my delivery date, but they flagged it up when I logged in.
Unfortunately though they cocked up other parts of my order tonight, and the 0845 number they give you to call rang continuously with no answer for over 20 minutes before I gave up. I am really annoyed as they have sent damaged goods, overcharged me and I am unable to contact them. It's not even a free number.
Typical Tesco: good when things work, but appalling when they don't.
Every little counts... I'm going back to Sainsbury's delivery next week. For everything else, there's MSE :T0
