I think more people are in debt than we think, simply because the vast majority of people can't afford to live up to the materialistic expectations placed upon us, but most of us try.

When I tell my mum how much a night out costs (eg. meal in a restaurant or clubbing or pubbing it) she nearly has a heart attack!

I guess technically you can't celebrate until next payday really. You've still only got the bare essentials to live on this month. Last month you were in debt, this month you've just broken even, you aren't rich until next month. ;)
Pay off CC debt by Xmas 2017 #095 £0 of £11,416

True. Although I have an extra £150 this month which I saved from my holiday and last month, so I think I'll manage...

Still, I am debt free and thats all that matters - whooooo!!

OH flying home from Munchen tonight, don't whether he'll be home tonight or tomorrow!

Treat myself to leftover chinese from the freezer and a couple(?) of glasses of wine ....when I've put my kinders to bed :D
  • Aldi yoghurts, pop, paracetamol and a paper and a choc bar.

On the other hand, I got paid and it included £150 of expenses I wasn't expecting to see again! :j
