Npower One via Moneysupermarket
Hi there,
First post for me.
Taking martin's advice, on Friday last (25th) I went through moneysupermarket.com to change supplier from E.On to npower on the npower one tariff which was fixed but only available until 31/07.
I got a confimation /reference from moneysupermarket.
Today I phoned npower to check on this and was told they had no record of me - and fixed price deals were now closed.
Called moneysupermarket and yes, they have my details but tell me there's a delay of up to 20 days before their applications go to npower. This is despite the fact that the email confirmation email I rec'd says "...Your application will be sent directly to npower within 24 hours..." I asked - can I be assured I'll get the tariff I chose, even if it not available by the time npower get it. The operator said "should do" but I'm not sure I believe him.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation and what happened?
Have I missed out on the fixed rate - Could this be the most expensive use of a cashback site ever?
To those of you who ask why not use quidco - I couldn't get the npower one tariff through the quidco link.
