Please be careful when trying to "take advantage" of 'the introduce a friend to Sky' deal....

My friend introduced me three months ago and am still witing for the £50 M&S vouchers (as my friends are too...).

Many phone calls later to complain (I am sure they are making money off these calls!!) still no vouchers. Apparently they had real trouble getting them (clearly there isn't a M&S within fifty miles of Edinburgh)

When I requested that two sky boxes be sent instead, they stated that they could not do that as we joined during the previous offer.

Customer service attitude is also poor (is this because they have a monopoly???).

Trading standards or papers is my next tactic.

easiest thing is to cancel your sky

they broke their side of the agreement so why should you keep yours

i bet that the vouchers will then suddenly turn up

I had to make three phone calls to Sky when I introduced a friend too. I did evetually get the vouchers though.

Been waiting nearly 9 months for mine. Everytime I call I get 'they'll be with you in 14 working days' Annoys me that they are still advertising this deal which implies they dont have much trouble getting the vouchers so why take so long sending them out?, you dont think a multi-billion pound company would be breaking their promises on purpose do you?

Anyway, we will see if I eventually get them, not holding my breath though.

Got mine within 6 weeks. Really pleased and they have been put away for xmas.

We got ours within a mont

We went online, gave my friend's details. They clicked on the link, booked a slot and sky was installed. The following week we both got an acknowledgement email and the vouchers followed within a month
