British Gas

 I hope that Managing Director who was on TV last night likes the feeling of death on his hands because that's whats going to happen. There are lots of people out there, especially the elderly who couldn't afford gas prices last winter. (you see and hear that they confine themselves to one room to cut costs down because they can't afford to heat their houses fully).

This also means that the hospitals had better be ready to be inundated with sick patients over the winter because of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enough rant i had to get it off my chest.
Things will get better day by day.

Well I have an elderly granmother and although I think she can afford the increase, I know she will reduce the amount of times her heating is on. It`s already cold. I did put her on a capped deal not long after the first price increase this year she will still worry. She goes to bed when its dark in the winter and then turns her heating off.
  • I think that the price hike is absolutely ridiculous and is one of the reasons I left many moons ago-disgraceful! And it's not the first hike either!
Loan-£3600 only 24 months of payments to go!!!
All debt consolodated and cards destroyed!!
As D'Ream would sing 'Things.....can only get better'!!!

You are aware that British Gas have announced that the prices will be held at the previous rates for anybody on their essentials tariff? This is any customer in receipt of the winter fuel rebate. There has been some sort of commitment towards the potential increase in fuel poverty.
