Amazon or Ebay....

Which is the best for selling books?

I'm having a clearout and have some books that have never been read.

Your thoughts would be appreciated?

  • The only way to tell is to check out the completed auctions for your titles on eBay, then see what they are selling for on Amazon and make your decisions based on what you have found.
Bear in mind with Amazon you don't need a photo and there are no fees till you sell.

I personally find amazon much, much better for selling books, although I think it does depend on what books you are selling. I won a load of brand new hardbacks from bestselling authors once and they sold on ebay for good prices. I haven't had any luck selling other books on ebay though. I recently sold some health and craft books and some fiction by foreign authors on amazon which had got no bids when they were on ebay.
