Options
Does anyone no of a company or underwriter that doesnt take occupation into account for life and CI cover. Or appears a little generous re this for a over 40" scaffolder?

Having a bit of trouble.

Many thanks,

Jason.
Views expressd are just that, views and opinion, they are not financial advice, as that requires much detail and work and everyone is different. Advice should be taken, in my opinion, from a professional financial advisor. PS. Good luck. ;)

You should expect a small rating on the premium when looking at quote portals to compare as they always assume class 1 occupations. However, most providers will have no difficulty taking you on for cover based on what you have said so far.

Thanks for your response, have spoken to the underwrirters for most of the favourites (4 hours worth of work!), all pretty heavy loadings, all pretty much the same also, most offer an extra £2 per £1000 sum assured, (this is £400k of life and ci). Have negotiated a pretty good deal with L&G now thanks.

Out of interest, nomal premium was circa £113pm, with loading £214pm! I'm at £185pm currently. Which is good deal for all.
