I get confused sometime regarding cashback.
It says that you need to send in the "6th" bill and then it says your 6 month bill. These are actually two different thngs. You get your 6th bill after 5 months and your 7th bill after 6 months.
So do they actually want the "7th" bill which will prove that you have been on the contract for 6 month, or the "6th" bill?
Thanks
Good question...and one that can only really be answered definitively by Carphone Warehouse themselves.
However, I suspect that it will be the one which lists your month 6 useage and charges your line rental in advance for the 7th month.

reestit, you left out another important aspect of this deal, a way to save another £20!!!
cpw give you the option of trading in an old phone, and offer you £10 for the phone, £5 for a charger and £5 for a manual, oferring a total saving of £20.
If you opt in for this rebate scheme, they send you a freepost jiffy bag along with the phone you purchase, and you can send them back an old mobile, charger and manual, and I've been told they will send you a cheque for £20. Ive just sent my old phone off today. I dont know how fussy they are about the oldness of the phones, and whether the charger and manual have to match the phone though.
btw you saidDon't forget...you could save yourself a few more pennies by using a cashback site.
a few pounds might be more accurate! ;-) Rpoints is offering 1100 points "cashback" on this deal, and 1100 points = £11 !

Having previously worked for a well known high street mobile phone company, I can say that we never had any problems with accepting any phone as a trade in. Infact, as long as they were not cosmetically damaged, we never even checked if they worked

I fear that *some* of them (the cream of the crop) might eventually end up in their clearance section.

My apologies - updated the OP to include this info and credited you with the trade-in suggestion.
BTW...they now have an instore-policy of not accepting anything less than 2-3 years old (see the T&Cs printed in their brochures) but the mail-order part of the business doesn't seem particularly fussed judging by the handsets I've been able to send back to them recently in exchange for a trade-in cheque.
