Prepayment - Switch..?

I am currently on prepayment meters with EDF for both Electricty and Gas. There are 5 of us in the flat but are fairly energy conscious (e.g. turning off lights, standbys, etc.).

Currently, EBICo are the cheapest comparison, averaging £962 to our current EDF £1264, which is quite a difference! Although, EDF did just raise their prices. I ask with all the price rises (and no capped rates on prepay), whether we should change yet, or wait until all the suppliers have upped their rates to compare?

And if we do change, can we change again (e.g. switch to EBICo but then they become more than E.On) - i.e. how often can you change prepay and how long does it take to start paying less?

Most topics/articles seem to be about billed services, but what's a prepayer to do in light of the current situation..?

Any help much appreciated!

Thanks,

Dan
