Just got on the SP website this morning, logged in as existing customer and changed my service to fixed online until aug 09.
Whole process only a couple of minutes, pleased i got on as rises are immenent.
Just had an email response from SP stating it will take 3 days to activate, my question is - if the rise takes place within the 3 days will they still honour and process?

I've just tried, and got through the process a lot quicker than it was taking last night, but I still (as i did last night) get the following message at the confirmation screen...
"Sorry, we are unable to change your service package right now as we are processing a change to your payment details.
You may have requested this on our website or by telephone. Alternatively, we may be reassessing your monthly payment amount if you pay by Direct Debit. If so, you will receive notification of this by letter.
This may take up to two weeks, after which time you will be able to change your service package".
Now, I did receive a statement from SP last week stating that my monthly direct debits would be changing, and my prjected usage/costs for the next 12 months - but, having received the letter, should I not now be able to change my service package, as they state above?0
