Adobe photo downloader frustration

I recently got a new laptop - Sony Vaio - which had a selection of Abobe products thrown in - Acrobat Elements 3, Photoshop Elements 3 and Adobe Premiere Standard. My problem is that when I plug in my usb memory stick, it automatically opens up Adobe Photo downloader which loads files I've got on the stick e.g. pdfs, mp3 and photos. I've tried everything to disable this - options for the memory stick and how I want it to open. But can't find anything that relates to the adobe downloader to stop it automatically loading. Really frustrating. Any help would be appreciated!

Plug in your USB memory stick, then go to Start>My Computer and right-click the drive letter referring to it. Select Properties, and navigate to the AutoPlay tab. Click on the button marked 'Restore Defaults', and the next time you plug the device in Windows should ask you what you want to do with the contents.0
