i have a external burner but have lost the power lead
It one of the multi pin type,looking a bit like a din plug
Is it just the + and - 12 volt thats actually needed anyway to power it
Just wondered if i could open it and connect the 2 leads direct

Not sure if its just 12v you need - internally the dvdrw will have a standard connector with +12v +5v and 2x ground0
