barclaycard and balance transfers :-(

well, I was lucky and got a £3600 limit on my card :-)

immediatley transferred £2k of my sainsburys card on it (0% till december)
and 'paid off' £1000 of my loan from my bank,
transferred my bank overdraft to my egg card,
then transferred that to barclaycard

must admit, egg is excellent, transferred all funds the next day

Bloody barclaycard however, show the £3k on my balance, but neither sainsburys or egg have seen ANY of it, and its the 7th day for the egg card now. i'm a little narked as barclays said 'it'll be up to 7 days' , now i'm being charged interest with egg :-(

reminds me of the bad old days when i used to bank with the bunch of monkeys also.

never mind, 3.6k interest free for 10 months, i'm payiong off at £500 a month, i'll be debt free in 7 :-)

my barclaycard BT was done with halifax in 2days! can you transfer overdrafts onto the barclaycard?

Be careful, Barclaycard have just recently increased their interest rates from 15.9% to 22.7% p.a on unpaid balances. I make it roughly a 50% increase and this seems to have gone totally unnoticed by the regulators.

Morgan Stanley did something similar about a year/18 months ago.

It makes paying of the amount due much more difficult.
