The airmiles site - it has various offers, including one that's for £55 a ticket, for if you don't have enough airmiles. What a rip-off! I called them yesterday about a ticket and they told me the start at £99! I pointed out that their website is showing tickets from £55 and was told that no, they go from £99. Someone please give them a slap for me?

Anyone know of any good alternatives? It seems I can do almost as well - if not AS well - but using Eurostar the site itself.

AFAIK www.thetrainline.com do eurostar bookings now.... you could try there

use www.quidco.com for some cashback too!

I did try thetrainline, it kept saying my dates (early dec) were too far in advance!

well that's a bit crap! how r u supposed to plan in advance if u can;t book more than 1 month in advance....!

I know! Suspect there's a problem with the site - Eurostar's limit is 90 days in advance and this is well within that. Sigh, back to the drawing board.....

I would book direct with Eurostar through their WEB site.

If you book the right trains you can get a 1st class Leisure Select ticket for less than their standard ticket, and that is on their own WEB site.

Best for this is the 08:12 and 09:09 Waterloo to Paris Trains on a Saturday
