OK, been tranferring balances around for a few years basically to cover old debt and spending. All worked very nicely and back to pretty much no card debt now. We also have several thousand pounds in savings, for safe keeping really. Now, we want to make some improvements to the house, about 4k's worth. We dont mind…

Well, popped home again at lunch and there was a letter from MBNA with some 0% cheques from my wifes Virgin card. They are only until May 09 - but will do the trick and buy us a few months.

I guess we might be looking again in April 09
